Cleaning
We recommend a professional clean once a year to keep carpets and rugs looking good and wearing longer. Our solutions are anti-allergenic, with no perfumes, dyes or harsh chemicals.
Carpet cleaning
Coffee, wine, ground-in dirt, pet stains and odours. Our truck mounted system rinses and extracts deep in the fibres, and high velocity air movers speed up drying.
Every carpet clean comes with a free bottle of spot remover, and you can add 3M Scotchgard protection to help resist future stains.
Upholstery cleaning
We check the fabric type first, then pre-vacuum, pre-treat and gently agitate before rinsing. A pH balanced rinse leaves no sticky residue behind, and a final grooming sets the fabric in one direction so it looks even.

How a carpet clean works
The same nine steps on every job, so you know what to expect when we arrive.
- Inspection. We note the carpet's condition and any problem spots.
- Pre-vacuum. A commercial vacuum lifts dry soil first.
- Move furniture. So every area gets cleaned.
- Pre-spray and pre-spot. A solution breaks up soil and stains.
- Rinse and extract. Our truck mounted system does the heavy work.
- Spot treatment. We go after anything stubborn that is left.
- Speed drying. High velocity air movers cut drying time.
- Scotchgard, if you want it. Optional 3M protection.
- Walkthrough. You inspect the work before you sign off.
Restoration
Flood, sewage backup, fire, smoke and odour. Our IICRC certified journeyman restoration technicians remove damaged materials, dry and clean the space, then rebuild and replace what was lost. One contractor from start to finish.

While you wait for us
- Mop or blot up as much water as you can.
- Take items off wood furniture and wipe the furniture down.
- Move rugs, loose items and valuable art out of the wet room.
- In summer, run the air conditioning on high.
- Do not use a household vacuum to pick up water.
- Do not turn on appliances while standing on a wet floor.
- Keep your hands clean so you do not spread soot.
- Gently vacuum fabric and carpet with a brush attachment.
- Lay clean towels or old linens over high traffic carpet.
- Change the furnace filter and tape two layers of cheesecloth over vents.
- Do not wash painted walls or surfaces.
- Shut down your furnace and air system right away.
- Stay away from the affected area.
- If anyone's safety is at risk, call 911 and follow their instructions.
- Do not try to clean it up yourself.
- Wash egg off the outside of the building before it dries.
- Blot food spills on carpet with a damp cloth.
- Vacuum up broken glass right away.
- Keep any containers left behind so we can pick the right cleaner.
- Do not rub stains into the carpet.

Parkland Carpet has been family owned and operated since 1977. Owners Dwayne Jendrasheske and Nolan Efford are local, and they got into this work because they like helping people.
